To change (add, edit, clear) terms, the account needs to be Private. If the account status is Public, the user needs to change the account status to Private. The system will automatically change the status account from Public to Private immediately.
See how to hide the MT5 account here.
After the account was successfully changed to Private, the user can add, edit or clear terms by clicking [Update Commitment].
Example: the Trader's Guard is as follows.
Commitments:
- Pair(s) Selection
- Equity drawdown
Terms:
- Pair: EURUSD
- Daily equity drawdown: 5%
- Weekly equity drawdown: 10%
Penalty: Close all signal
In this example, we assume:
- Add term Pair(s) allowed to trade is GBPUSD.
- Edit term Daily equity drawdown is 5% to 3%.
- Clear term Weekly equity drawdown.
1. Add commitment terms
Add term Pair(s) allowed to trade is GBPUSD.
Then, click [Confirm] to finish.
2. Edit commitment terms
Edit term Daily equity drawdown is 5% to 3%.
Then, click [Confirm] to finish.
c. Clear commitment terms
Clear term Weekly equity drawdown 10%.
Then, click [Confirm] to finish.
The new Trader's Guard is as follows.
***Note:
In case a trader changes the account status to Private before maturity, then edit the commitment terms and change it to Public, the investments will:
- Existing investments are automatically terminated and the contract ends.
- Investors do not have to pay management fees.
- Traders are not allowed to share profits.
