How to check swap and swap type

A swap is an overnight fee that a trader must pay for holding a position overnight. To check the swap of each symbol, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open MT5

Step 2: Log in to FXCE-MT5 Real or MT5 Demo Pro account

Step 3: Right-click the symbol you want to check and choose [Specification]

The screen will show the swap of the symbol you choose, in which:

• Swap type: In Points means swap is in points with 1 point = 0.1 pips. In percentage terms, the swap is calculated as a percentage.
• Swap long: swap rate per 1 point for Buy orders.
• Swap short: swap rate per 1 point for Sell orders.
• 3-days swap is the day when the swap fee will be multiplied by 3 times.

***Note:

1. Swaps of Crypto pairs and Indices will triple at 23:59 on Friday (Server time: GMT+2 (Winter-Spring) and GMT+3 (Summer-Autumn). If you close the order before 23:59, then placing an order after 00:00 will not be charged.

2. Swap of Forex and Gold will triple at 23:59 on Wednesdays (Server time: GMT+2 (Winter-Spring) and GMT+3 (Summer-Autumn). If you close the order before 23:59, then placing an order after 00:00 will not be charged.
